This announcement invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions in:

1) Energy: includes but is not limited to renewable energy technologies including wind, biomass and fuel cells, alternative fuels, high efficiency engines, and energy harvesting;

2) Micro/nano/bio-mechanics systems and design: includes but is not limited to modeling of nano-composites, nano-bio-mechanics, devices and sensors design, nano-imaging and manipulation, opto-mechanical systems design, nano-manufacturing and MEMS/NEMS;

3) Aerospace structures: includes but is not limited to composite structures, multifunctional structures, fluid-structures interaction (aero-elasticity), rotorcraft applications and space transportation structures.
Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a closely related field is required.
Women and members of other underrepresented groups are especially encouraged to apply. It is anticipated that the positions will be filled at the assistant or associate professor level, but higher rank may be considered. Rank and salary are commensurate with experience and accomplishments.
