Assistant Professor of Research

A non-tenure eligible position as assistant professor of research is available in the Urology research laboratory within the Department of Urology at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in a related basic science field and have a minimum of 5 years post doctoral research experience. The successful candidate must have knowledge in testis Physiology, including germ cell apoptosis during mammalian spermatogenesis. An interest in erectile dysfunction is preferred. The selected candidates will be expected to carryout various experiments and procedures and obtain funding support.
